The force is strong on our "crane game"

This coming weekend is the APCC (AsiaPop Comicon) here in the Philippines. It's like the equivalent of SDCC in USA. Before that epic day comes which I will be happily blogging and vlogging next week so, stay tune for that! I would just like to do a quick story about our "Crane Game".

Recently, Me and my husband Paul have been winning in the "crane" I would like to share our story to everyone since we didn't capture videos of it.

Our luck started on the day we purchased our car.

I won this cute Captain Toad look-a-like while waiting for the release of our car! It became our first car accessory. It's actually my second winning in the "crane game". The first time I won a stuff thing on the crane, was back when I was in Grade School, it was a green turtle. Winning this was very monumental, 'cause it was the first time for the longest time and I could actually document it thru a photo and it wouldn't be just like a myth when I have to brag this story to my friends.

Second time we won (actually Paul only), Paul got 2 stuff toys!

It was the hand on the Emoji Movie. This "Crane" was different from the typical machine. I was on a circular motion and you can have 360 view of the machine. It was really easy to win a toy on that machine, I think it wasn't as rigged as the normal crane machines that was lying around the mall. We went back at the machine after a week, and it was gone. Until now we are still in search on where did they took the machine.

Third winning was on Paul's Bday of 2018. He won a My Melody stuff toy.

This would probably be the ULTIMATE prize we could get in "the crane game". At first the machine was faulty, it wasn't controllable on the joystick. So, Me and Paul already taught that we are for sure NOT gonna get this toy. But the stars alined at that very moment and captured that stuff toy like Moby Dick is to Captain Ahab. "Thar, SHE BLOOWWSS!!!"

Lastly, and most recently 3 days after Paul caught My Melody, alas! I got a new catch.

I've caught this mobile keychain and never look back.

So, that's all our great outings with the crane game, I hope this would inspire y'all to waste your money on what I call "Casino for the Babies" - your local arcade. But seriously, I hope arcades would never die on the coming generation, at least all I can say is, NOT ON MY WATCH.

Sweet Treat Unboxing: Hello Kitty Gift Set with Candy & Collectible

I recently bought this Hello Kitty  Gift Set with Candy & Collectible but I didn't wanna do the whole unboxing video. I haven't been doing a lot of videos lately because of the bad weather. There no natural light to support the video, so I decided to skip that. Instead just did this the old way and blog about it.

First one is the "Surprise Egg" and boy, am I suprised on the item that I got.

The inside of the egg contains: A Toy (20 collectible), Stickers and Candies

Out of all the 20 collectibles, I got what I least wanted. Boo-Hoo! First, of all it doesn't stand on it's own and Second, it's probably the tiny-tiniest one of all the surprise kitty toys. And lastly, the paint job is terrible.

And then we have this keychain candy dispenser which is cute and have a decent paint job on it.

The Candy is ok, it's a mix of sour and sweet with a bitter after taste. Edible and Enjoyable.

THE VERDICT

Would I buy again?
Probably, only the surprise egg only because of the Hello Kitty collectible toy and I would not eat the candy.
Would I recommend it to a friend?
Yes, If She/He is a Hello Kitty Fan and would like this kind of collection. Plus, this would be a good gift idea to a little girl.

KKO KKO - Fairview Terraces, Quezon City

Finally, the long wait is over!

Me and Paul had finally eaten at KKO KKO.

This restaurant have been hyped by my colleagues long before the branch at Fairview Terraces have been opened.

THE PLACE

It was a convenient location for us, since we live in the north. The first branch I heard Kko Kko was in Ortigas, I don't know if that's the first branch or main but that's the first one I know. Since the restaurant is at the mall, mall-goers are all over Kko Kko, well at least this branch. I can't blame them 'cause it's been only opened last May 2018. Me and my friends attempted to eat there last May also but we didn't managed to get a seat, the restaurant was jammed.

Lucikly, Me and Paul went to the mall earlier than usual and went straight to Kko Kko. We managed to get a very nice spot.

The ambience was nice. It's a nice place to bring a date.

THE FOOD

So, the big question is - How's the food?

To be honest, the cheese fondue is what really made us eat at Kko Kko. So we decided to get that only. And to tell everyone frankly, the food at Kko Kko at least the ones that needs the cooking, was quite expensive for an average filipino. The cheese fondue alone cost Php 600+ and that's just a half order. Is the price justifiable?

cheese fondue (half order)
Yassss!!! It's not everyday that you get to fondue stuff. 🧀🧀🧀

And seriously, the food was good.

THE VERDICT

If you love cheese, this the place to try. Sure it's expensive but if you saved a few bucks, it's affordable. It's a social activity so do bring some friends or love-ones. Other than the cheese fondue they have a lot of korean food there, the keyword here is korean. If your in to that, go for this place.

Bonus if your a "K-Pop" fan, they play a-lot of Korean songs there. ✌
