Sweet Treat Unboxing: Hello Kitty Gift Set with Candy & Collectible

I recently bought this Hello Kitty  Gift Set with Candy & Collectible but I didn't wanna do the whole unboxing video. I haven't been doing a lot of videos lately because of the bad weather. There no natural light to support the video, so I decided to skip that. Instead just did this the old way and blog about it.

First one is the "Surprise Egg" and boy, am I suprised on the item that I got.

The inside of the egg contains: A Toy (20 collectible), Stickers and Candies

Out of all the 20 collectibles, I got what I least wanted. Boo-Hoo! First, of all it doesn't stand on it's own and Second, it's probably the tiny-tiniest one of all the surprise kitty toys. And lastly, the paint job is terrible.

And then we have this keychain candy dispenser which is cute and have a decent paint job on it.

The Candy is ok, it's a mix of sour and sweet with a bitter after taste. Edible and Enjoyable.

THE VERDICT

Would I buy again?

Probably, only the surprise egg only because of the Hello Kitty collectible toy and I would not eat the candy.

Would I recommend it to a friend?

Yes, If She/He is a Hello Kitty Fan and would like this kind of collection. Plus, this would be a good gift idea to a little girl.

Happy Meal Toy Unboxing: My Little Pony

Today, I'm gonna be sharing my newest video content on youtube. My unboxing of My Little Pony Happy Meal Toys. It took me a while to complete the set 'cause this toys apparently are easily sold out or incomplete in Mcdo branches that I've been thru. My favorite pony of the bunch is Fluttershy. She seem to have the most decent figure of all, worst pony was Rainbow Dash - she have this tangled and messy hair right off the package. Overall, the build of the toys was decent for the $2 Happy Meal that comes with a food and drink.

My Tokidoki Collection 2018

Ever since I was in college I have been a huge fan of Simone Legno's art - TOKIDOKI. I love his style on his art and I tend to make it as an inspiration for my own art. He have been to the Philippines several of times but I was young and broke (Graphika Manila circa first sesh, SM The Block exhibit etc.). But last 2017 at AsiaPOP Comicon, at last! I have meet my personal idol. I had the opportunity to have my toys signed. I could not put into words on how I felt on meeting my personal art hero. So now I've been slowly working on my tokidoki toy collection and hoping to make my collection big as Paul's star wars toy collection.

This coming July 27-29, 2018, He will be coming back here in the Philippines again at AsiaPOP Comicon, I hope I could buy more tokidoki vinyl toys there and have it signed again. I will keep everyone posted, I will be vlogging and blogging that!

Murakami x Doraemon UNIQLO (2018)

I finally have a Murakami!!! Super ecstatic to own this plushie. Ever since I've saw a post at Murakami's IG account of the Uniqlo x Doraemon collab, I was so eager to have one. My only worry was would it be release here in the Philippines.  But when Uniqlo PH announced its release on May 25, 2018 - I was determined, I have to have ONE! 

This plushie is a bit hard - Hard enough to sit on his own bum. It's ok, I think this it was made to be on that position anyway. The art on Doraemon is so Murakami - if you are familiar with his art, you could see the signature sunflower smiley faces on the pattern. This would probably be the most affordable Takashi Murakami artwork I would ever have. His plushies are sold for $52 to $1,000. This plushie on the other hand only cost roughly around $29. So, if you happen to see one - don't hesitate to buy one.

Real Life Mario Kart Toy [GIANT REMOTE CONTROL KART]

Me and my husband are huge toy collectors. We collect Star Wars, The Simpsons, Tokidoki, Hello Kitty and recent one – Super Mario Bros. (Yep, We are N E R D S)

My husband bought this Super Mario Bros 1:8 Scale Radio Control Mario Kart: Bowser and Luigi at a Japan Surplus Shop here in Manila for a bargain price. This toys are really HUGE! 45.7 x 34.3 x 35.6 cm ; 3.22 Kg.

Unfortunately, NO MARIO. It’s really nice to buy this kind of toy for a fraction of a price. Hope to score more toys like this.

My Hello Kitty Collection 2018

I've been blogging for quite sometime now (I had a previous blog at wordpress.com) but I've never really vlog. Since I have this channel in youtube that I use for my travel videos (which is mostly for personal use) and portfolio (for work) I've figured to maximize the most out of it.

Today, I'm gonna be sharing my Hello Kitty Collection. I've collected this stuff since 2014. I was never really into Hello Kitty at first. When I was a kid, I was more into Kerokeroppi and Winnie Pooh but it never really stuck on me 'cause it was mostly bought by my mom and like this collection it began when people gave me a bunch of Hello Kitty items. People began to tag me on facebook about Hello Kitty posting and other Sanrio things. I think people just assumed that I was into the kitty chase because of my "cute style" in artwork - they assumed that I was inspired by Hello Kitty. But come to think of it, Tokidoki - which I consider my biggest influence in art, does a lot of Hello Kitty collab. So that's the time when I began to like Kitty. To be honest, I'm not a cat person, I'm more of a dog person - I've never had a timeframe in my life that I never had a pet dog. But Hello Kitty bought out the cat person in me - well, at least at animated things.
